CDM Adviser Service

Our CDM Advisor service can assist Clients, Principal Contractors and Contractors in managing Health and Safety in accordance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) during the planning stage and the construction stage, each assignment will be different.

Pre-Construction Information (PCI); in accordance with CDM 2015 Reg 4(4) Clients are required to provide pre-construction information as soon as is practicable to every Designer and Contractor appointed, or being considered for appointment, to the project. Pre-Construction Information must be proportionate to the size and complexity of the project.

Construction Phase Plan (CPP); in accordance with CDM 2015 Reg 4(5)(a) the Client must ensure that the Principal Contractor or Contractor (for single contractor projects) prepares a Construction Phase Plan (CPP) before that phase begins. The CPP must be proportionate to the size and complexity of the project. PJB Safety Services can assist with the formulation of a CPP

 

Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS): in accordance with CDM 2015 Reg 8 and  CDM 2015 Reg 15 all Contractors undertaking any construction works or maintenance activities must prepare method statements detailing a pragmatic step by step confirmation of how they will undertake their planned works. All the planned activities must also be assessed for any inherent risks involved during the works. PJB Safety Services can assist with the preparation of:

 

Site Health and Safety Inspections: in accordance with CDM 2015 Reg 8, Reg 11, Reg 15 and CDM 2015 Schedule 2  Principal Contractors and Contractors must ensure that their construction works is undertaken in a safe manner. Clients are also responsible to ensure that works continues to be carried out safely, more so ensuring that suitable and sufficient welfare arrangements are in place and maintained for the duration of the project in accordance with CDM 2015 Schedule 2. PJB Safety Services can assist with undertaking a formal Health and Safety Inspection of the construction works and providing a formal report detailing any non-compliances and recommendations for improvements.
